WestFest The 1st annual WestFest community celebration will take place at Reiche School and Community Center on Saturday, May 22, 2010, co-sponsored by the West End Neighborhood Association (WENA) and the City of Portland. The festival will include a giant yard sale, craft and bake sales, community group information, kids' play areas, basketball tournaments, fire trucks and safety info, food, music, a must-see Zombie kickball game and more! The event will be held from 8am to 4pm, rain or shine, and all proceeds will benefit WENA’s programs that provide free swimming to area kids and free family movie nights, support Neighborhood Watch programs in the West End and sponsor other community activities.
